USPS won't take your package because it's a Lithium-ion Battery?

I sincerely apologize for the confusion! We ship our products using USPS every day and our products fit the guidelines outlined on their website for shipping with Lithium-ion Batteries.
According to the USPS website (https://pe.usps.com/text/pub52/pub52apxc_032.htm), lithium metal and lithium-ion cells and batteries installed in or packed with equipment are mailable via air or surface transportation. Our batteries are well below the thresholds USPS gives below:
"Domestic — Lithium-ion Cells and Batteries:

  • Installed in or packed with the equipment they are intended to operate:
  • The total watt-hour rating for each cell must not exceed 20 Wh.
  • The total watt-hour rating for each battery must not exceed 100 Wh.
  • Each mailpiece must contain no more than 8 cells or 2 batteries."

The batteries in our products are installed in the product, fully contained, and not user serviceable or removable. The batteries are a single cell and either 2.22 watt-hours (Pitbull Silver, Palm, Butterfly Kiss, Butterfly Kiss PRO, Beast Clipper, Baby Beast Trimmer) or 5.18 watt-hours (Pitbull Gold, Pitbull Platinum, Beast Clipper PRO)
Please feel free to print this email to bring with you to the USPS for clarification.
